MSU Peer Leader Scholarships
In 2010, First Presbyterian Church, on behalf of the Yellowstone Presbytery, has introduced a scholarship program for MSU students. Renewable scholarships are offered for Montana Presbyterians who would like to find a church home with us while pursuing their university studies in Bozeman. Our church believes that a stronger linkage with individual students will benefit the church and students alike. Students are asked to propose a participation role in church activities, or to start a new mission or activity for which they have energy. Other than the scholarship funding itself, there are benefits for students including host families and networking for internships and career possibilities. Interested students can review the application material at the link below. The first set of scholarships have been awarded for Fall 2010.The application window for the scholarships is on a "rolling" basis (continuous application process). Interested students are encouraged to apply. Students with questions or who would like to visit about the program may contact Pastor Dan Krebill (dan@fpcbozeman.org) or 406-586-9194; or Elder Nancy Giddings (ngiddings@bridgeband.com).
